With the Clean-Ice system, ozone (03) is produced directly at the water inlet to the ice and icemaker, making it more efficient. After the sanitisation process, the ozone decomposes back into oxygen (02).

The ozone cell in the water generates high-purity ozone, which dissolves under the pressure of the incoming water. As a result, the pipes, tank, ice maker, storage container, fresh produce counter and appliances remain germ-free for the long term.
The formation of new biofilms is reliably prevented. Biofilms often appear as a layer of unsavoury organic substances in which bacteria, algae or fungi, for example, embed themselves. This makes the use of aggressive chemicals unnecessary. The highly efficient Clean-Ice process generates exactly the right amount of ozone for the best possible result.
How it works
Simple and effective. Ozone (O3) is enriched oxygen and a highly effective natural sanitising agent, approved and successfully used in water treatment (German Drinking Water Ordinance TrinkV§11) and food hygiene. Clean-Ice’s ozone cell in the water generates high-purity ozone, which dissolves under the supply pressure and reliably prevents the formation of new biofilms.
